Some current control loft pictures

The system on the left is connected to a 6 core AMD – it's the backup system to either of the “hanging computer”. The monitors on the right access the hanging computer system.

This is the hanging computer system – on the left a Core I7 used for multimedia. On the right a single core AMD that functions as a file server and can support 8 drives. The two together “run” the Party Barn.
I built this by mounting the two systems to a large piece of aluminum. The odd bright glow in the middle are led lit cooling fans. This system has the advantage of very easy access for upgrades – much easier than the previous rack system.

PROJECTOR RAIL BUILT AND INSTALLED (MORE IN AV SECTION)

(with no remote, this projector has no trap, invert or keystone adjustments - sux - this is why it's not upsidedown mounted)

These look better with the lights down.  The new projector will have a much better contrast ratio not to mention be 16:9 instead of 4:3.  This projector is doing fine considering it was $329

Check out this WALKTHRU VIDEO with things running - gives you a better idea of perspective.

FINALLY GOT THE BIG SCREEN INSTALLED! (17')  WE WILL TEMPORARILY USE AN OLDER PROJECTOR UNTIL WE GET THE ONE WE WANT

The projector is just sitting on a table for now.  It will be mounted overhead on a custom rail soon.

This old projector is only 1000 lumens - but does fine on the 1.3 gain screen.  It's also limited to 4:3 aspect ratio.  The new one will support 16:9.

See the AV page for more info.

3rd TABLE SET AND CHAIRS INSTALLED>  SOME BAR STOOLS> SOME LARGER FRONT SPEAKERS (INFINITY SM-152)> WALKWAY LIGHTING

The wall mounted SM-152's.  I built custom welded steel supports.  They are suspended about 6" off the wall - nice!  The sound system now has 10 speakers.

INSTALLED TWO MATCHING TABLES WITH CHAIRS

These sets are made of Maple.  Not a real hard wood, but the match is perfect - and they are solid wood - not sawdust and glue.
The price was quite excellent too! $189 a set.

When the furniture store gets another set in - we'll be picking up one more.  Seating for 12 is around our planned max occupancy.
